Chassis

Hydraulic where it counts.

Hydraulic disc brakes front and rear with a progressive lever feel: braking force builds as the lever is pulled, so a young rider slows smoothly without the grab that unsettles a first-timer. Sized for a 165 lb rider at 28 mph.

Rear dual shock absorbers and 9.3 inches of ground clearance take grass, dirt and uneven ground in their stride. The frame is high-strength steel on a short 40.7-inch wheelbase: it takes the knocks of learning and stays easy to turn.

The right first electric dirt bike is the one they can stand over.

A 27.6-inch seat, five inches lower than our lightest full-size electric dirt bike, and a 165 lb rider limit make the AP-2C-1 a machine for teenage and young riders rather than a shrunken adult bike.

Bring your rider to any of our shops. They sit on it next to the bigger machines, we set the speed for their experience, check both hydraulic brakes and the suspension, and walk you both through safe riding before it leaves.

Questions

APTUM AP-2C-1 questions

Who is the AP-2C-1 for?

Teenage and young riders. The 27.6-inch seat, 40.7-inch wheelbase and 165 lb rider limit are sized for a first real electric dirt bike rather than an adult machine.

How fast does it go?

Up to 28 mph. We set the speed for your rider's experience at handover and show you how to change it.

How far does it go on a charge?

Up to 31 miles at 20 mph from the 48V 20.8Ah battery under manufacturer conditions. Hard riding, hills and heavier riders shorten it.

How long does it take to charge?

About 6 hours with the 54.6V 3A charger.

What are the brakes?

Hydraulic disc brakes front and rear, with a linear, progressive feel that suits new riders. Our technicians service them in the shop.

How tall is the seat?

27.6 inches, about five inches lower than our lightest full-size electric dirt bike. Bring your rider in to sit on it.

Where can it be ridden?

Private land and permitted off-road areas only. It is not a road vehicle. A helmet and protective gear are essential.

What does the warranty cover?

One year against manufacturing defects. Wilson's manages the claim and our own technicians carry out the work. Wear items, water damage, collisions and unauthorised repairs are not covered.
